Emmer Campaign Announces Staff Changes

The Tom Emmer for Governor Campaign announced two changes to the campaign staff today, adding an Operations Director and Press Secretary.

Jim Schottmuller Operations Director

Jim Schottmuller joins the campaign as Operations Director. Jim has extensive experience in business management in addition to his political experience. Jim was a candidate for Ramsey County Commissioner in 2008. He will manage the day-to-day operations of the campaign office including scheduling, fundraising and communications.

Chris Van Guilder Press Secretary

Chris Van Guilder has been appointed Press Secretary for the campaign effective May 17, 2010. Chris will be the main point of contact for all relations between the media and the Emmer Campaign. He formerly served as Director of Field Operations for the campaign.
