Emmer for Governor
GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer showed the impact Tuesday of balancing the state’s budget without tax increases: Flat spending or cuts to virtually every part of state government, including schools, health care and aid to cities.
Right off the bat, Emmer defended his view that next year's projected $5.8 billion state budget deficit is simply a result of government spending run amok.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer received an award for his 100 percent legislative voting record in support of the agenda of National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), but not a formal endorsement … not yet, anyway.
