Fergus Falls Daily Journal:
A contingent of Minnesota’s Republican Party candidates came to Fergus Falls on Friday afternoon to fire up people around the area about the GOP. If the cheering and clapping crowd of between 60 to 70 who showed up is any indication, that goal was easily met.
While not all of the statewide Republican candidates made it to the event, attorney general candidate Chris Barden joined District 10 Senate hopeful Gretchen Hoffman and District 10A and 10B incumbent representatives Bud Nornes and Mark Murdock to appeal to the party faithful for their votes and their feet on the ground.
And of course, they were joined by the main attraction: gubernatorial candidate and current state representative Tom Emmer, who brought the largest cheers of all with his passionate pep talk to the audience.
