The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce PAC endorsed Tom Emmer today in his race for governor of Minnesota. The endorsement highlights Tom Emmer’s consistent and straight-forward approach to having government live within its means while allowing the entrepreneurial spirit of Minnesota’s business community to flourish.
“Tom Emmer is the candidate who best meets our criteria and will make an outstanding governor,” said Steve McCulloch of St. Louis Park, a member of the Minnesota Chamber Leadership Fund Political Action Committee. “Emmer is the candidate who best represents the Minnesota Chamber’s pro-business, pro-jobs agenda and is most electable. His message will resonate with all Minnesotans, because it’s common-sense, especially during a challenging economy.“
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Minnesota’s largest business organization,” said Emmer. “The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce PAC is committed to expanding business opportunities and growing jobs in Minnesota which is Job One for the next administration.
“I look forward to working with the Chamber PAC to continue to promote the common sense solutions of government living within its means, putting Minnesotans back to work and real education reform.”
The endorsement comes on the heels of Emmer closing a 14-point gap in the polls from August to September and Tom’s strong debate performances.
