Governor Tim Pawlenty to Headline Major Fundraiser for Tom Emmer

The Tom Emmer for Governor Campaign announced today a major fundraising event headlined by Governor Tim Pawlenty on August 23, 2010.

“Because of Tim Pawlenty’s outstanding leadership over the last eight years, Minnesota is well-positioned to lead the nation in economic growth,” said Emmer. “His help and support for our campaign means a lot.”

The Pawlenty event will be the focus of Emmer’s fundraising efforts for the next 30 days as the campaign prepares for the possibility of running against a wealthy self-financed DFL opponent.
