The Tom Emmer for Governor Campaign announced today they have raised $900,000 for the 2010 general election campaign.
“Our unified Republican ticket has allowed us to steadily raise the money we’ll need for the general election,” said Emmer. “We are gaining momentum every day and will have the resources we need to speak directly to Minnesotans about redesigning government, keeping taxes low and creating jobs in this economy.”
The Emmer Campaign raised $785,346.78 so far in 2010, with $114,752.31 raised in 2009. Emmer received support from 4,480 donors with an average contribution of $195.
“I’m honored so many average Minnesotans have made a contribution to our campaign. Unlike the self-financed millionaires in this race, we’ll need lots of help from a broad base of people to be successful,” added Emmer.
